Jim Flaherty

President, CORE Communications – St. Paul

Jim has always had a passion for people, which has been the driver of his success in business for 15+ years. Jim and wife, Kari, became business owners of Allegra in St. Paul in 2007, and won multiple top sales awards for growing their business from $280,000 to $2 million. They also helped pioneer the concept of adding an Image360 signs franchise to their Allegra operation. Jim and Kari successfully sold their businesses in 2017 and are excited about starting CORE Communications to serve the St. Paul / Twin Cities market. Jim is deeply involved in the community, sitting on several nonprofit boards, as well as serving as King Boreas LXXX, the youngest King Boreas in St. Paul Winter Carnival history. In his down time, Jim is an avid sports fan and family man. Jim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – River Falls.

Alex St. Aubin

CEO, CORE Communications – St. Paul

Alex is a graduate of the University of Minnesota – Duluth with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Communications at Concordia University – St. Paul. Alex has worked on hundreds of projects as the former project manager at Allegra and Image360, as well as her time at Western Collegiate Hockey Association and working on the 2016 Ryder Cup. Alex’s expertise with both print and digital marketing allows her to bring a fresh perspective to her clients’ needs.

Kari Flaherty

CFO, CORE Communications – St. Paul

With Kari’s accounting background and experience, her and Jim make a powerful husband-wife ownership team. As CFO of Allegra and Image360 for over 10 years, Kari managed the finances and administration of both companies. She’s also the head of the Flaherty household, getting their two sons to all their school, hockey and soccer events, as well as spending time with Jim, her high school sweetheart, and husband for almost 25 years. Kari is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – River Falls.

Amy Mauzy

Amy Mauzy is a 27+ year veteran of the radio and TV media industry in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. The past few years she has worked in the world of nonprofit along with assisting several companies in the Midwest with their social media and PR needs. Amy served as Prime Minister of the 2016 Winter Carnival Royal Family, coordinating their 300+ appearances, travels, and charitable endeavors. She currently serves on the Executive Board for the St. Paul Festival & Heritage Foundation as Vice Chair. Amy recently wrapped up an exciting role as a 2018 Super Bowl 52 transportation coordinator and also assisted at the Opening and Closing ceremonies for the 2016 Ryder Cup. She and her husband, Rob, enjoy traveling, attending sporting events, and trying new restaurants in and around the Twin Cities.
